Yin Yang | The Basic Principles of Yin Yang In Patterns of Disharmony

Yin Yang | Patterns Of Disharmony in Yin Yang

Everything in nature is represented by Yin and Yang, for example cold, deficiency and night is Yin and heat, excess and day is Yang. Consequently the principles of diagnosis and different patterns in Chinese Medicine are also dependent on the patterns in the body showing signs of Yin and Yang. The patterns of disharmony can be deficient or excess of either Yin and Yang.

The following tables are representative of some of the patterns of disharmony used in diagnosis in Chinese Medicine and in relation to Yin and Yang.
